Bridging care with consent-one cooperative step at a time

At BehavioralBridge Pediatrics, I provide behavioral support for children who struggle with medical and dental care. Whether a child fears going to the doctor, resists tooth brushing, avoids medication, or has trouble following health routines, I help build the behavioral skills they need to participate safely and confidently.I specialize in working with children ages 2 to 10, using assent-based, individualized strategies rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). My focus is on helping each child tolerate, understand, and actively engage in health-related activities in ways that respect their autonomy and comfort.Families come to me when:
-A child refuses medical or dental procedures
-Health routines like brushing, bathing, or taking medicine are a daily struggle
-Sleep routines are disrupted by fear, resistance, or behavioral habits
-A child is ready for daytime toilet training but needs behavioral support
-Providers need collaboration to complete care in a way that respects the child’s needs and dignity
My services are designed to reduce fear, increase cooperation, and support long-term care readiness through shaping, reinforcement, and trust. I also work directly with pediatricians and dentists to ensure behavior plans align with their clinical goals and honor the child's pace. What I Do Not Offer
I do not provide feeding therapy, encopresis interventions, infant sleep training, or general emotional or mental health counseling. My practice is specifically focused on behavioral barriers to healthcare access and daily health routines for children ages 2-10.
If your child is struggling to access the care they need, I am here to help bridge the gap, one step at a time.

No. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), not a mental health therapist. I address behavioral barriers to care, not emotional or psychological concerns unrelated to medical or health access.

It depends on your child’s needs and goals. Some families work with me short-term (4–8 sessions) for targeted shaping around a specific procedure. Others may benefit from longer-term support to build multiple routines or increase generalization across settings.
